it all took place on an unfamiliar college campus chris climbed a flag pole for a nationally broadcasted psa or something. it was like important i was proud of him i remeber that I knew he was going to bevause he didnt try to.. if thst makes sense. like previously in this world, he'd always try to, or at least say he was going to then didnt. and when he looked at me and didn't say anything, i knew he was going to. i remember it during the protest im gonna tell you about later in this i feel like you were in other aspects, but specifically you and a group game bacm from something. think uh... the magic school bus for young adults. there were very interesting clouds around. one was black and red with red rain in a consistent, straight stream. and its like they had lightning inside them. they reminded me of the supernovas captured in space, just as a cloud i slept in an odd place as well. like.. an odd auditorium-wearhouse combo. like an auditorium that was abandoned and now used mainly for storage and as a passing through. i slept on a lightly cushed bend one of those thst are black leather with buttons thriughout them if you know what i mean. I manned that flag pole actually, and had a fear of it. like someone was going to appear from it. i remember checking switches to make sure they were off when i woke up every morning the church was oddly very prevalent as well. i remember announcement and prayer. nobody was exactly happy about it, it was like forced upon us. it was odd. there was a time thst they were announcing prayer and people held up pride flags and such, maybe as a protest? i also remember leaving class, I believe i was with you. we were talking about the time, and this girl swore that it was 5 at night. it was the morning.. around 11 maybe. i also remember being with my mom, and thinking about Ella. I dont know why or what, though the flagpole was just.. the most oddly prevalent thing. it is in every memory that i have about this dream. so, so odd. but such an interesting experience and it was all *very* vivid. like i was half awake in it.
Dreams can often serve as a reflection of our subconscious thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Let's delve into the various aspects of your dream and try to find meaning in them:
Unfamiliar College Campus: The setting of your dream in an unfamiliar college campus might signify a phase of learning or personal growth. It could symbolize a new journey or challenge in your life that feels both exciting and daunting.
Chris Climbing the Flag Pole for a PSA: Chris's actions could represent ambition, courage, and achievement. The fact that it was a nationally broadcasted event suggests something of importance or recognition. Your pride for him indicates admiration for those who achieve their goals, possibly reflecting aspirations you hold for yourself or others close to you. The notion that you "knew he was going to" might indicate a trust in his capabilities or a realization of inevitability in certain situations.
Returning from a Group Adventure: Your mention of coming back from a magical, almost surreal adventure hints at exploring unknown territories, whether in real life or psychologically. The "Magic School Bus for young adults" analogy could point to learning and discovery, perhaps a longing for adventure and understanding.
Unusual Clouds and Red Rain: The unique and vivid imagery of clouds with red rain and lightning suggests turbulent emotions or thoughts. It might evoke a sense of awe and fear of the unknown or a reflection of current emotional unrest. Such striking natural phenomena in dreams often symbolize change or disruption.
Sleeping in an Odd Auditorium-Warehouse: Sleeping in a strange place like an auditorium-warehouse could indicate feelings of displacement or transition. The space being abandoned yet used symbolically suggests unresolved issues or the neglect of certain aspects of your life.
Fear of the Flag Pole: Your fear tied to the flag pole might point to anxieties surrounding personal achievements or public recognition. Fear that "someone was going to appear from it" could reflect a fear of being unexpectedly challenged or judged.
Church Announcements and Protest: The enforced prayer and subsequent protest (with pride flags) could symbolize a conflict between outward expectations and personal beliefs. It reflects a dissatisfaction with imposed norms and a desire for personal or societal change.
Confusion Over Time: The conversation about the time of day reflects a disconnection from reality or confusion in your waking life. It suggests that things may not be as they seem, or that perspectives between different people may vary greatly.
Mom and Ella: Your mom's presence and thoughts about Ella might symbolize nurturing or care. It could also hint at unresolved thoughts or emotions related to family or past relationships.
Repetition of the Flagpole: The flagpole's repeated presence highlights its significance as a central theme in the dream. It could represent aspirations, fears, or a focal point of change in your life. Its prominence suggests it's something your subconscious is urging you to pay attention to.
Vividness and Half-Awakeness: The vivid nature of the dream implies that these themes are deeply ingrained in your current emotional or mental state. Feeling half-awake might indicate a blurred line between your conscious thoughts and subconscious musings.
Overall, your dream appears to be a rich tapestry of exploration, fears, aspirations, and reflections on personal identity in relation to societal expectations. It speaks to deeper introspection and the desire for understanding amidst change and uncertainty.
